Ahkilama was founded on February 13th, 2018 — the 70th birthday of Charlton "Gabby" "Larry" Larca. His wisdom and guidance allowed for this business to bloom — Mahalo e na kūpuna la 'ea.

My name is Kawika Maui Hā Kalama and I am proud Cebuano, Manchurian, Kanaka Maoli [ Native Hawaiian ], and Scottish storyteller living on Chinook land in Portland, Oregon. Altogether, I have over a decade of experience working in creative direction, photo/video production, and education.
